89 KX500 1366n needle

I have a 89 KX500 with the stock 1366n needle.  The needle broke and Kawasaki says it has been discontinued?  How different are the needles out of the newer bikes?  I need to get this fixed but I don't the best way to do this.

  A great source is Sudco (sudco.com).  They should have the part you need.  It is also highly possible that one of the members has an old one in their toolbox that they would be happy to mail to you.  The dealer is often the least helpful place you can go.  g'Luck. Cam.
