But from what I've heard the Scott is great as well. I've even heard of some guys taking the little stock dampener off the 09 honda 450's because they don't like the heavier feeling of the gpr or scott.Personally the GPR, is the way for me just because of customer service. here's were i got mine.

Dont waste your time, they suck. I have a 08' 450x and you can crank the thing all the way and not even tell a difference. Stick with the Scotts or GPR.

Good to know.....man they are pricey suckers...
The Flyin Hawaiian:
Steering dampers not only work at high speeds but slow speeds also. If you ride alot of tight single track or rocky trail, the damper helps take away some of the deflection that occurs in rocks, roots and even bar banging tight woods. Ive been using WER dampers on all my bikes since 94. They have worked well for me.
Polar-Bus:
another great benifit i've learned with the Scott's unit is versatility. I have 2 MX bikes, I initially bought a Scotts for my KX500, but recently also purchased a Sub mount bracket kit for my '07 YZ450F, and the Scotts damper unit works with both bikes, in 5 min. I can swap rthe unit from bike to bike, saving me $300 by not having to buy another damper unit.
