Fasstco flex bars
Polar-Bus:
I don't know, those bars just seem to be another expensive bling gimmick that folks think they need. My 5 seems to have no more or less vibration than my '97 KX250. I only moto, and play ride, so I really only ride flat out for about 20 min max. Maybe an all day hard ride the vibration is more noticable, and then a person can warrant spending $400 clams on bars. All's I need are a good set of Renthals, and I am content. I'll pass on the bars, my priority for spending $400 is a STEERING DAMPER.
Arigato:
If I wanted bling, I would've polished up a set of pro-tapers(FuriouSly did his and they look sweet). Fasstco's are not pretty. I got mine for $217. The do what they advertise. I have two steering dampeners; one each side of my body.
moburki:
What about compatibility with Scotts damper? Or did I miss that in this thread somewhere?
Arigato:
They have a special bend for steering dampeners. Just specify when you order.
Ride:
Been using them for years. Good stuff. Great for hand fatigue and impact absorption. For MX they are nice for landings, stutter bumps and chop. For off road they are nice fore everything especially embedded rocks. I have broke metacarpals on both hands and these really help.
Here they are on my TE450 Husky with elastomers for upward motion installed (not standard / my own brew) and also showing the over bar for the damper.
