Does anyone know of an add-on spark arrestor for a stock '04 KX500 pipe?
Fixing to go to a National Forrest that requires them...

Anyone make one?

Yes, Sparky makes a slip on for your stock silencer. http://www.denniskirk.com has then for $70. I'm sure you can find a used one or a new one for cheaper elsewhere. But a point of reference.

sparkys are actually manufactured by cobra. I was able to find one for my sons stock silencer on his kx 60, but last time i tried toget one for my k5 they where on national back order??? i end up getting a fmf silencer with spark arrestor built in, also that was a good excuse to put an fmf gnarly pipe on.
ps love the pipe.

Can one not be made out of fine chicken mesh wire and clamped on the back of your muffler to deflect the sparks ?  8-)

In the US they must be US forestry service approved.
