d**n patches
« on: February 11, 2006, 02:14:57 AM »
Applied the PNphpbb2 1.2g rc3 patch and blew the forums up. I have backed that patch out and am having the hosting provider restore the latest on disk backup. The database information wasn't touched by the patch, and if any attachments etc... are missing they should be restored when the backup is restored.

Ok, looks like the backup has been restored. There are lots of "bandaids" and hacks in this site, so I appreciate your patience with whats going on. Pitbull Racing has been around since November of 2002 and was one of the first sites to offer CMS / forums / gallery / chat integration. Most of which was custom written, hope it works stuff. The chat was killed off a very long time ago - buggy s**t  . Anyways, I've been speaking with Alan and we're going to try a couple things so that we can get a stable environment setup. The offerings today are MUCH better than they were in 2002.

Enjoy, let us know if somethings broke and we'll try to get something better put up soon.

Paul (if that is you?),

The "View posts since last visit" does not work anymore. Some posts are marked read even though I have not read them. Something strange is going on...

I have to check the filesystem permissions on the Gallery, I also have to figure out why I'm getting an "Invalid Sessions" error and I'll take a look into why the forums aren't showing correctly - read vs. unread. It's happening to me as well. I guess I'm lucky it held together this long

We'll get something together shortly, just hang with us :)
