wheel bearings
effzee:
i recently bought some excel wheels off of e-bay and they need some new wheel bearings . my ride is a 2001 kx5honey. what is the best way short of bringing them to a shop, to get those friggin things out!! thanks !!

I use a long 20" x 3/8" diam steel rod for a punch. They come out easy. Circlips hold in one side. Cam.

Here is where I bought the bearings for the extra set of wheels I bought to put my sand tires on. I have not installed them yet, but they look good.

I use a screw driver or a punch to get them out and a big craftsman socket to put them back in. Craftsman replaces them for free when you mushroom them from all the hammer beating. ;)
