Hi guys,

Does anyone have a lead on a replacement piston for my 1981 KX420 please?
I'm having trouble sourcing one.

Wossner and Wiseco have nothing listed.
Kawasaki seem out of stock too.

What do you 420 owners do?

Try to find another piston that nearly the same off another model , or do what i would do and get wossner or wiseco to make a minium run of 20 or whatever and then sell the rest you dont want on ebay ,forums etc to get some of your outlay back.

LA. Sleeve has a part number for what they call a "Thick Sleeve" for the 420.
It can easily go to 86mm.
A buddy of mine has one and loves it.
Going to 86mm allows you to use a 86mm KX500 piston so you will not have to worry about finding a piston again.
