Been out of the parts availability loop
Polar-Bus:
And it's getting to be a concern ! Tried finding an aftermarket front swingarm chain buffer and NOTHING but OEM. Dam part was $49 but at least it's still available. Got my rear end all torn apart and I thought it was in good shape. NOT. The lower shock pivot arm bearing was sized. Luckily no damage to the actual pivot arm. So about $310 later my rear drivetrain will be GTG . I'll have to keep a better grasp on lubing the rear suspension pivot components for sure.

At least you could get oem , what happens when there gone , i keep all my worn and broken kx etc stuff just in case i need to remanufacture it , lucky there some real good fellas out there making tranny parts ,cases, power valves etc for the k5 and other kawi models. I hope someone like tm design step up and start making chain guides for older models they make a long lasting guide but they have only a small range for the newer models.

Agreed. Ive invested in a 3D printer and im learning how to print using carbon fiber infused nylon. Worst case scenario is i can replicate plastic parts in CAD and then 3d print them.
KXDINO:
Sounds good.
