KX250
« on: October 12, 2020, 04:46:41 AM »
Hey everyone, my name is Kody and I have a 2000 KX250, it's an old bike but I love it. Need to make some modifications to make it more conducive for trail riding, as I don't track ride at all. I've had motorcycles since I was 13, but I'm still a novice rider. Just need to make more time to get out there and get better!

Is the bike stock? Usually mx bikes are valved stiffer in the suspension so revalve it softer and see if the spring rate is right for starters,Then you might want to smooth the power out with a heavier flywheel , you just have to ride and see what you need like is the gearing right for where you ride ,are the tires right for your terrain are the brakes strong enough , do you like the power down low or you like to rev it. The 2000 kx250 a good bike had a new one back in the day and can be modified in every department.
