if you go to all the trouble to change triple clamps , get a set with off set around 22 mm , this will make the front not slide out on flat corners the reason being kawi steepen head angle by 1 degree from 04 model to 05 onwards and didnt change off set to suit there fore it hasnt enough trail making the front tire slide out on flat corners, you will notice the improvement.the std front forks can be made a lot better by changing to a softer spring , the short one at the top of the fork in side the inner cartridge , easy to get hold of and while you at it fit a gold valve set up to your specs , i even gold valve the mid valve which helps as well , this will make it work a lot better. the kxf forks will need just as much done to them as well except the inner cartridge spring it seems good.and dont bother with the showa air fork unless you convert it to spring then its ok.
