Kx Hybrid Stator Questions
« on: October 18, 2018, 10:15:32 AM »
Hey guys,

I'm currently building a 99 Kx/"Kdx" hybrid and as of now have a stator problem. The engine cases are 1993 Kx 250 and I have a bad stator, I bought all 99 wiring, cdi, coil and stator but the 99 stator doesnt bolt on the 1993 cases.

I've seen that the 93-97 stators look a lot alike on eBay but part numbers on the Oem Schematic are different. Do you guys know if any of the 94-97 stators bolt up to the 93 cases?

Also is there any Kx250 model year guides that describe the different model year characteristics in terms of power delivery?

Thanks

Not sure about the 93 250, I have not read it in a while but know that Eric Gorr mentioned changing the CDI on the early 90's 125, another thing was adding a flywheel weight on 250's! Have a read (Y)

I would mod the stator plate until it did fit....
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
