There are 8 torque drive friction plates and 8 steel drive plates (4 each of different sizes). Obviously they are thinner than stock. All I know is I have rode it about 60 miles in fast single track woods in 2nd and 3rd all day and it works like magic!!!!!!

Did you bother filing your clutch basket before installing the basket liners?

My basket was not worn. They recommend a new basket if worn. I think filing it would create a loose fit. But I don’t know. I was going to replace basket if needed.
