Hi just bought myself a kx125 at the ripe old age of 41,going to have some fun at the local track with my son.Ive never been offroad only ever had road bikes. I'm not sure of the bikes age though but I'll ask that question later.

Welcome to the world of dirt bikes! I'm sure you and your son will have many great adventures on your new bike. There obviously is more maintenance and upkeep with a motorcycle than a pedal bike, but it's something that you both will learn together. I tinker with mine every week.
