Wondering what is the benefit , I will be using this KX500 for ice riding and maybe street motard . I'm looking at an 02' KX250 with no wheels. My real wheels will work since I have 2 sets of wheels for this 500 from another parts KX 250 . I would need to come up with a front wheel for the 02' since the bearings are different. I would say too the forks from the 02' would be way better than the 91' hopefully would be a direct swap.

The chassis of the KX 500 is pretty much the same from 85 up. By placing the engine in a newer chassis you get better suspension, better ergonomics, and better handling. It would be the same difference between riding a 2002 KX 250, and an 85 model.
