Kaveman42:
Just got back from my first ride on a dirt bike, ever. Had a great time and didnt crash at all. Now I know what you guys are talking about throttle control.  I got on it a little o straight aways and I can feel the bike wanting to fly. I definitly have a lot of getting used to before I can unleash the 500.

Timbowe:
Sound as tho your on the right track. The ol kx5 is the ducks nuts when it comes to fun. They are a very easy bike to pilot when treated with a certain amount of respect [specially when starting out]. Work out the power to weight ratio. That kx is round 65 hp and weighs bout a 100kgs. That is more than most top range sports cars. Stick with it and ye shall be treated to some very wide grins on the ol dial. Time in the saddle. You'll be unleashing in no time. GO THE GREEN!

mikesmith:
One day at a time and youll be there!

Kaveman42:
Going riding again tomorrow too. Should be fun.
