Has anyone tried this? Was wondering if it would have any benefit.

I asked a long time ago and no one had heard or it,I never bought one but I think it would workin the rough low to mid range.Let me know if you try one.

From what I understand, it's for really long high RPM pulls; like a really tall sand dune or lake bed.  If you run alcohol in your motor you would want one too.  It won't make the motor run any differently.
