Kx500 rear shock alternatives
Anchefonk:
That's what I'm going to do. CR500 pipe. I got one second hand fairly cheap.
But, Sandblaster, did your Kxf shock with the kx500 clevis measure the same as the stock kx500 shock!?
I don't know if it will create handling and clearance issues if mine it's 1 cm longer
sandblaster:
I don't know... I just popped it in to see what I had.
I don't have any measurements just yet.
Dutch-K5 Fan:
I remember DC Concept used a 99 kx250 shock or piggyback for that.

Anchefonk:
If for a reason I install the Kxf shock with the kx500 clevis (1cm longer than the kx500 stock) anyone knows if changing the dogbones will bring the rear to its original setting? I mean, is there any way to calculate the length of a custom Set of dogbones so the rear will perform similar to the stock version (or improved) with a 1cm longer shock??
Or, What If I cut 1 cm de KXF shaft?
Thank you!
Dutch-K5 Fan:
I would first take the spring of and install
the shock to see how it goes with travel.
If it works, spring back on and set the sag to see how
It al goes. Still oke, ask your suspension guy what he thinks.
