Help With Carb
hughes:
Thanks. I need to get some printer paper and print that thing out for easy reading.
hughes:
I found some of my jetting problems with this carb. My float hight was off by 5 mm. I was busy with work and had dropped the bike off at a dealer to have new float and needle installed acouple of month ago. They must have never set it. I have been do small jetting step one at a time but could never get lean enough. Today riding in the woods I had to go back to the truck and start all over. I put the 30 pilot back in and rised the needle one clip. Things seems to be looking good.
Kawadougie:
I was wondering. I'm running a 40 pilot now with the air screw 1-1/2 turns out but my needle jet is four sizes smaller than yours. I had to drop my main down to a 330 because it wouldn't clean out. One thing to remember is that the pilot jet will affect all the other jets. If you make a large change on your pilot it is equivalent to changing 1 or two sizes on the main.
