buying a 1994 kx500, what to look for?

im trainding my bike for his 1994 kx500 and a spare engine in parts and a kx 85

i did the trade and found that the bike is a 1993, engine runs well except for around 7000 rpm in 1-3 gear, pretty smooth in 4-5 gear migth be jetting in the carburator? some ligth oil leak from the clutch cover due to the sealing being a liquid rather than original replacement, and the shocks are quite drained of oil, other than that im quite happy with the purchase of my first two stroke :-D
