Add not replace fork oil

I dont have time to properly refill my forks with oil. I would however like to add a little, becuase I have a slight leek on the seal. I know this is not the proper way of doing it, but Id rather ride than wrench this weekend.

I heard that you can add oil to the breather screw hole with some luck.

Does anyone know if this is possible, and the effects?

I'm guilty of doing this,was for a fork seal leak and only added a small amount.But make time later for an oil change if its been a while and then you can set up your forks by starting with the oil level.
