Do they make frame protectors for the KX500?

I've been searching for something like this, but can't seem to find anyone that makes them for a KX500.  I'm not surprised, given that the bike is no longer made and hasn't changed much since the 80's.

I was trying to find something like the pic below.

If not, would it look cheese to use Rhino Lining paint, or something similar, if it was taped off and done cleanly?  I don't have the patience to stay on top of it and keep touching it up, but it would be nice to keep it looking cleaner.

I have seen the metal or aluminum ones, but was hoping for the black plastic type.

Thanks for any info.

Cut skateboard grip tape and place it in the wear points. oops

Danger4u2:
I use Works Connection frame protectors.

I can still buy them new for the KX500 like this

If I can still get them I'm sure they must be available on eBay... yep there are several pairs there:

Thanks, guys.  I may try the skateboard tape, or may even try a Rhino Lining type of product.

Sandblaster, I don't like the look of the metal or aluminum ones as much, but they may work if the other options don't look as good as I hope they will.  Thanks for the link.   :-D
