difference between 2003 & 2004 kx500 motors

Another way to look at it...I just replaced the ENTIRE bottom end of my 95, minus the flywheel/stator plate and engine cases. When I ordered everything, I just used the 04 to get all my part#'s/parts.

Older KIPS arm you say?  What's the difference and what year bike is it off?
How is it more suited to your needs?

there's a thread that shows the arm he's talking about...if I get time I'll try to find it and post it....if I remember correctly, it's in the Jeff Ward Motor Round 2 thread.
