Moving from the UP to eastern Wisconsin
« on: April 07, 2014, 05:28:07 AM »
Hey!

Im new to the site, so let me tell you a little about myself.

I started riding trails in Marquette Michigan back in 2005 on a '92 kx 250, now almost 10 years later Im about to graduate from MTU as an engineer and I found a job in Sheboygan Wisconsin.  Once I move down there and get all settled in, I want to reignite my passion for riding (not much work required).   I plan on spending my first paycheck on my buddies '94 kx500 that he's been holding onto for me.

Anyone on this site from around the area?

Not from the Wisconsin area....but welcome to the site anyhow!
Yeah, funny how it doesn't take much to start thinkin "dirt bike" again...usually just the sound of a 2T weed whacker buzzin in some ones yard is enough for me.
Excuse me, ma'am...but you've got extremely nice legs!!!...what time do they open???                                                                                                               https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8tCgN3aryQ

Not from Wisconsin either (Mi. native) but I did spend 2 weeks last Oct. at Au Train and the trails you're leaving behind are a hard act to follow. They are plentiful and some very long runs. I had to strap a 2 gal. jug to the seat of my KX250 to make sure I got home.

Congrats on the degree and the job. I'm sure you'll find trails to ride, it comes naturally to Yoopers.
Where the Hell is "Easy Street" ?
