mikesmith:
I had Kustom Kraft resleeve my 1979 RM125 back in 1981,so I would say some one had your cylinder sleeved.

JBKX:
KUSTOM KRAFT BUILDS AND PORTS ENGINES.  I HAVE 2 KX500 MOTORS THAT HAVE KUSTOM KRAFT TOP ENDS, BOTH HAVE HAD PORT WORK DONE BUT NOTHING RADICAL.  I BOUGHT THE MOTORS WITH THE WORK DONE ALREADY AND BOTH RUN STRONG!  WWW.KUSTOM-KRAFT.COM
ONE OF THE MOTORS IS IN A 86 TECATE ALSO!!!!

Hogwylde:
Unfortunately, yes....I've heard of them.  They are located in the Chicago area.  My bro-in-law just picked up a KX5 that got there logo carved on the cylinder also.  I just had to pull the head on it to replace a leaking head gasket and found a stupid sleeve in the thing.  That sux!  Once it's worn beyond it's service limit, you will have to throw it away and get a new jug.  At least if it had been replated, you could replated it again and again back to original specs.  I don't know why people stick those stupid sleeves in there.

I will have to admit that they at least did match the ports very nicely.  Doesn't appear to have any porting mods done though.

KXT500:
just put a new sleeve in it. that is what keeps la sleeve in business :P
