reed cage options???

KXT500:
I have a kx500 engine that i am putting into a 86 tecate three wheeler frame so originality is out the window. the engine was missing the reed cage when i bought it so i need one. anything would do so what are my options. i bet an aftermarket version is less expensive then a new original (if you have a spare let me know). i think the engine is a 86 (its black) and I am running a platninum pro circuit pipe with a 40mm keihin pwk flat slide carb. this should be a fun ride when i am done with it.

Hey, do you have any pics of your trike?  I have had my KX for nine years, but have had other bikes and stuff before and during.  The one I regret selling most was my 84 ATC 250R.  Now that I am nearing college graduation, I would really love to have a an 85-86 250R or Tecate 250.  Would love to see a pic of your machine.  Could you post some in the members photo section or send me one?
