Thanks for the input Gents, i ordered a lockup tool, and an impact wrench and will report back in with resolution.

with the lockup tool you will not need the impact gun.  Make sure the 2 bolts on the spanner are not too long and use washers or spacers between the removal tool and the weight to keep from bending the bolts.

Lockup tool worked like a champ, nut comes right off. Flywheel took some torque, and POPPED when it first moved on the shaft.

Thanks for the intel on this, and I recommend the lockup tool!!
