K5 lighting, Tecate coil?

 I had read that a Tecate lighting coil will fit on a KX500 back plate, if anyone knows please let me know.

Motorrad:
Puts out less power that the ones they sell for the k5.  Moose makes one and claim 75w.  Which is a lie.  At normal operating Rpm on a k5 I'd bet it's more like 35-40 watt
