also the mention of "honeing"    how much did it get honed?     any flaking of nikasil?      hone it too far?     that will stick a motor together very fast.. (like metals)

the cyl was not nikasil coated so no none of it was flaking. hone too far i don't know

you say the cylinder is not coated ? does it have a metal cylinder sleeve installed then ?
