Need brake line advice

Hi all.  I bought my KX500 and after riding it I noticed the front brake line was bowed and bulging toward the disk rotor.  There was a small zip tie on the fork tube protector holding it in place when I bought the bike, but obviously once the suspension compressed, that was snapped off.   The guy I bought it from said it has an oversize brake kit.  The rotor definately is different than stock. It looks like it even has a carbon fiber center to it.  I THINK the caliper is stock.  The brake line is definately not stock though.  You can see in the pictures that it has a heavy green sheath on it.  I found a line on Rocky Mountain from Sunline that looks very close so maybe that is where it came from.  I think the sheathing is what is causing the braided portion to bow over.  Obviously, I don't like this idea too much and don't want to ride it until I can fix it.   I am thinking the only thing I can do is replace the line with one that fits better or has less stiff sheathing on it.

The braking feel is really nice but I can't get past the safety part of it.  Any other ideas?

By the looks of your pics...you're missing the brake line clamp on the bottom of the fork leg....it might not cure your problem, but it should help.

Foxx4Beaver:
here's a pic of what you're missing.

ahh... interesting.   I didn't know that was missing.    I can't seem to find that part on motosport's oem pages...

I wonder if something like this would work??
