Bought a KX500 1986. Except no kickstarter. :(. I need help to start it.

I just bought a 1986 KX500. It runs, but its hard to start it with out a kick starter. I need help finding one or something to get it going again. Please i need help, its a very good bike. Compatible parts or some ideas on how to get it running again. Thanks much appreciated.

Welcome both of ya. I also have an 86.
Yes parts are not cheap i snagged my kicker off ebay for 75$.
as far as compatability just go to any parts website and compare the part # of ur k5 to any other yr k5 or 250, 125 ect.

Yeah, i've been looking for a kickstarter assy pedal. pn 13064. Its hard to find that one for the model. But will the other ones work? Models 88-04, will those work?
