Just bought an 01 here in utah for $1000, it had sat for awhile but it was pretty clean "stock", still had swingarm stickers in great shape. excellent spare motor

Yeah you aren't going to get much cash for one. I tried to get rid of mine not long ago, but I was aiming more for a trade. I figured I probably couldn't get 2k for it but I could maybe trade it for a older street bike worth ~2500k and then either ride that or sell it.
