cobbs:
what the hell I went to put coolant in my bike today and it was POURING out of the head all the way around is there some trick to getting these s**tty gaskets to seal the metal ring won't  crush down so the rest of the gasket in not sealing you guys have any tricks or a paricular order you torque the head nut down in I've never had this problem before

Foxx4Beaver:
start by lapping the the cylinder and the head to be sure they're PERFECTLY flat....more than likely, thats gonna be your problem. What gasket are you using?

Motorrad:
#1 Which gaskets you using.

#2  Torque the head nuts first (ignore the 2 kips ones past 50%)   in a star pattern... then torqe the 2 (Front) kips ones..  50% 75%    100%

#3.  Lap Lap Lap...  Ive never seen a flat Jug   nor do the replaters pay attention to it either.

#4.  after putting in head studs (you tightened those as well right?)   use a straight edge.. to make sure there isnt any material pulled up around the studs.... K5 is good for that one.

#5 Dont forget to loosen the Head mount when you torque it... Met many that have.

cobbs:
they have been lapped the metal ring was at 55 thousands the rest of the gasket was at 49 thou and that's after I torqued it down like I  said it was pouring out uniformly all around the cylinder but I did torque the exhaust head nuts in my criss cross pattern and I new I should have done those last but I  don't think that would have helped anyway because the gasket is a cheap piece of crap and I  should have just bought oem but no I  used ne super gaskets from China I know I'm a dumbass but I didn't hear anything bad about them so I tried them
